The peghead veneer is bookmatched shedua. The “Xaver” inlay is mother-of-pearl. The tuners are Grover Stay-tites, and the nut is 1 and 11/16 inch wide. The nut is compensated (brought closer to the first fret) by 1/32 inch, to ensure that open-strings play in tune. (Guitars with non-compensated nuts may play a bit flat in the open-string position.) |
