Here are the sides clamped into a mold. The sides were previously bent to their approximate shape over a hot pipe. The mold further refines this shape, and maintains the shape as the body of the guitar is assembled. Next up, I must glue in the head and tail blocks that keep the two sides together (at the moment they are two separate pieces). |
