Here I am gluing on the back of the guitar. The guitar remains in the mold during this step to ensure that the sides stay nicely aligned. Those rods that appear to be growing out of the guitar are actually pushing the back down against the guitar sides to ensure a good glue joint. Each rod is about a meter long, and is wedged against the ceiling. Once the glue dries, I’ll remove the guitar body from the mold, and install binding around the outside edges. |
