Text Box: Let me build your dream guitar.
Text Box: Parlor — This is the smallest in the acoustic steel-string family of guitars. A typical parlor guitar body is about 14 inches across at the lower (widest) bout and about 19 inches from end to end (not including the neck). Usually, the upper bout is much narrower than the lower bout, in comparison to other body styles.

Guitar Style and Dimensions

Three-quarter Size Dreadnought Very similar in overall size to the Grand Concert, a typical Three-quarter Size Dreadnought is about 15 inches wide at the lower bout and 19 inches long. The Three-quarter Size Dreadnought like its bigger brother (the Full Size Dreadnought has its distinctive “square” shoulders and tail. The waist of the Dreadnought is also more shallow than most other models.

Grand Concert — (14.5 inches at lower bout, 19 inches long). A very popular body style, particularly with a cutaway for the fingerstylists who favour the clarity that this style produces. Variably referred to as a “OO”.

Full-sized Dreadnought (15.5 inches wide x 20 inches long) This is the shape that is probably most associated with the steel-string guitar, with its recognizable squared shoulders and tail and shallow waist.

Grand Auditorium (16 inches wide x 20 inches long) The Grand Auditorium, variably referred to as an “M” model, is a larger version of the Grand Concert. Very similar in overall size to a Dreadnought, the Grand Auditorium typically has a wider lower bout than a Dreadnought, but has a somewhat shallower body width.

Jumbo (17 inches wide x 21 inches long) This is the king of the steel-string guitar world (although there are “Super” Jumbos around as well). With its substantial size, the Jumbo can put a chill down someone’s spine with its power and energy.
