The guitar features a split saddle. This allows more flexibility in setting up the compensation. The saddle is genuine bone. The bridge is East Indian rosewood, and the bridge pins are inlayed with abalone shell. In the upper right corner of the picture you can see the mylar transparent pick guard.
A Pure Western Mini pickup is also installed. It is comprised of three very sensitive transducers glued to the underside of the bridge plate (inside the guitar). This system is so sensitive that it does not require a preamp. |
